CHARTER BACHELOR OF EDUCATION

C.B.Ed. stands for an undergraduate academic course known as CHARTER BACHELOR of Education. It is a course offered for those who are interested in pursuing career in teaching and related fields. CHARTER Bachelor of Education Course can also be pursued through Correspondence or Distance Learning which is generally of 2 Year duration. While students from Arts Stream are trained to teach subjects like History, Civics, Geography and Languages. The students from Science Stream are trained to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The C.B.Ed. program course is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools. The C.B.Ed. program is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools.

DURATION: 2 YEAR.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

2. The school teachers with a Bachelor’s degree in Malayalam / English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ History/ Geography/ Computer Science/ Economics/ Commerce/ Home Science/ Sociology
FEE: Registration Fee: INR 1,000 and Course Fee: INR 5,000 per annum
